Universal Guedal Airways - Disposable
The Universal Disposable Guedel Airway is a single-use, one-piece oropharyngeal airway designed to maintain a patent airway and prevent tongue obstruction in patients under general anaesthesia or during recovery. The integrated bite block offers added protection by preventing airway occlusion in the event of involuntary biting.
These airways feature a smooth finish that minimizes the risk of damage to oropharyngeal tissues, and the colour-coded bite block ensures easy selection of the appropriate size. The rigid design of the bite block guarantees airway patency, while the smooth, bevelled tip allows for easy insertion, reducing patient trauma.
Latex and phthalate-free, the Guedel airways are supplied sterile in individual, single-wrapped pouches to reduce the risk of cross-contamination.
