Fully modular, adjustable and future proof the Mascot Mk2 is a care cot for life. It is designed to grow with the user's needs.  Building on the popular features of the original Mascot, this future-proof solution eliminates the need for replacements.

This handcrafted, bespoke sleeping solution includes adjustable door heights ranging from 60 to 120cm, featuring an innovative securing mechanism for enhanced safety. Additionally, its height-adjustable functionality allows caregivers to raise or lower the cot, making transfers easier and reducing strain during care.

Key Features

  • Soft windows – These clear windows prevent the cot from feeling enclosed. As they are soft, they integrate with the padding, ensuring safety is not compromised. Our double-glazed windows contain a pocket of air and are perfectly transparent.
  • A safe, cosy, and secure environment – Our snug-fitting padding and mattresses leave no gaps that could pose an entrapment risk. Made from soft-touch Panvelle or vinyl, Theraposture padding is non-permeable, anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, and anti-fungal. Padding can be attached with Velcro or bolts for extra security, and fabrics are available in a vast range of fun designs, including bite-resistant and anti-tear materials.
  • Height-adjustable functionality – Allows the cot to be raised or lowered, making caregiving more comfortable while facilitating safer transfers.
  • Optional top-edge padding – If full-height door padding is selected, we can pad over the top edge for enhanced safety. One of our Trusted Assessors will determine whether this is required during the assessment process.
  • Customisable access points – The Mascot Mk2 features split doors for easy caregiver access, reducing strain and improving day-to-day usability.
