Our high density foam filled fall-out mats are designed for use with low level beds to ensure that patients do not injure themselves if they were to fall out of a bed with no rails. Made with a blue pvc, wipe clean material the fall-out mat is very easy to store and maintain and comes complete with durable carry straps.

Three section can be folded and with the strap supplied can be easily stored away.

Hasn't worked for my dad's needs

To be honest, this mat hasn’t worked for us. We got it because my father was rolling out of bed. On the first night we put it down, he got out of the bed and almost fell because of the crash mat being there. It’s too soft to stand on. It's just pushed under the bed since then. He has dementia, so doesn’t have the capacity to push it in before standing up. We were advised not to put up a bed rail in case he injures himself, and a crash mat was suggested.



This would only be suitable for someone who cannot get out of bed unaided. 

We found a different solution. We pushed the bed against the wall on the side he was rolling out. He doesn’t tend to go out the other side.
